That coach saw something to ashito that's why he recruited him and that other coach saying ashito might be his first failure and ashito was sitting at the back hearing those conversation I can't wait what will ashito do
well based on other comments he
In previous episodes they showed us he has eagle eye vision.
That’s not a spoiler. Same I hope that he does atleast get a power up.
I like Inazuma dearly but I’m starting too like these characters way more than I thought I would!
Watch Giant Killing. Best one on football
he better pull an excellent play or he reall will never go pro
If ashito don't go pro he can't give money to his mom and give his mom a carefree life he better be a pro
yeah, hes got potential and skills but lacks common sense
bro in every comment section why do you just repeat shit we saw in the godamn episode
so that he can get trolls to comment on his comment and up the count... oh wait, never mind.
Let's talk ball
The Japanese football league system/structure
This will be helpful to understand some latter parts in the anime with a clearer picture.
The Japanese football league system is organized in a pyramidal shape. It's almost identical to the English league systems like the common concept of relegation and promotion but there r some differences which we will talk later.
∆ Structure from top of the pyramid to bottom:
Professional leagues:
• J-League 1
• J-League 2
• J-League 3
Semi-professional league:
• Japan football league (JFL)
Amature leagues:
• Regional leagues (9 in no.)
• Prefectural league (49 in no.)
Some info:
J-League 1,2,3 r fully professional leagues and Ao's current club Tokyo Espersion is in J-League 1.
(IRL Tokyo Espersion is Fc Tokyo)
Every J-League club has a youth setup and youth teams. Japan has one of the best youth structures in Asian football.
The Youth has their own seperate leagues and the youth are also sub divided. Youths are divided on bases of age groups (u-15, u-18, u-23, *note that this type of division is to catagorize players to play them in matches/leagues*) or on bases of ability like A-team (superior ability), B-team (comparatively less ability).
To understand the youth football even more, let's take Ao and run a simulation.
So Ao wants to play professional football in J-League, he joins a club at junior youth level. He has 3 years to advance to youth level, he must prove himself that he's good enough to progress.
Now his 3 years in junior youth have ended, 2 situations arises:-
~He makes it to the youth level: progress made!graduation! His journey continues! (Just like the other characters introduced this episode)
~He failed: setback, he will be released from the club i.e. he's kicked out becz he's not good enough. Thats like to getting fired from your job but with a lot more pain.
If he wants to continue perceive his dream, he has to start from zero again i.e. get accepted at another club.
This is where the Regional leagues & Prefectural leagues comes in. They can be compared to the lower leagues in the English system like the northern, southern, eastern, western premier league and even the Sunday league.
Japan is divided into 7 regions, which have 47 prefectures. Ao is in Shikoku region, and his prefecture is Ehime.
They have their own local leagues, and it's a good way for a player to gain some experience, so the "released" Ao can play in these leagues and prepare for trials along with.
Or if he's lucky and a scout spots him and recognises his ability, he can get "scouted", just like that bike gang guy in this episode.
Sheesh that's it.
Thanks for the info!
She woke up early to made that food only for that guy to not eat it that's rude she even got late at class
Why even comment here, totally out of context. 🤔
Hw probably wanted to reply to someone but didn't realise he was typing in the wrong area since the beginning😂
That dorm has a cafeteria, gym, bedroom, 1 computer in 1 room and is 5,000 yen for 1 month that's a lot
and knowing tokyo that's totally worth it for 5000 yen a month
fr, that is only 39 dollars a month, which is a whole steal.
I dont really follow japanese league and only knows about european football. But well, that clears my mind about which division he in. So Ao is already good enough that he is in the first league!
The club he plays for is in the 1st league but he's part of the youth.
He is not playing in the 1st league but he can play in the youth league.
Currently he's not at all good enough to play in the 1st league, that will take a long time.
my country aint that good at football tbh
Thank you :) Now i have material for my yt video
nice one, well explained
Uput way to much effort into this + respect

Handsome and good at football? potential rival spotted! XD
Rival target: LOCK ON
Ikemen in sports anime is always a target of BL and fangirling xD
True
He's already fangirls' favourite. It's very hard to get his merchandise, sold out very fast
He's English so that means
I mean he's position is defender handsome and cool ohtomo thought he would never be this good
Aoi already has fans, Hana and maybe those two girls from the beginning. Can't wait to see what kind of person Togashi is, since Aoi's teammate said to not trust him
Togashi cried so much like a lot saying goodbye to those homie bikers and he introduced himself while the coach is talking then suddenly ashito stands up and gave his uniform to togashi for him to sit and then togashi was a little angry so he asked if he is in the youth camp and ashito is not from that youth bad it's all good. Togashi seems like a nice guy maybe he just hate those youth team guys
Did I see u on another website before ?
yep but that website got taken down
What was it called ?
Possibly horriblesubs but I'm not sure, name rings a bell though.
Teammate who said that came up through the youth team so, yeah, that.
"I don't trust him" says the quiet guy with closed eyes and a weird smile....
I was like, mate - I don't trust YOU! 🤣
IKR!?
Closed eyes guy always the dangerous one
Ashito should still not completely trust anyone.
It takes genus level to get autographs now and cash on them later on. It's a free real estate gold mine.
the dude literally living in 2077
If I were the girls, I would do the same.
I’m really glad Ohtomo and Tachibana made it on the team and those 3 are going to be a good team.
Looks like Togashi is gonna be an interesting character.
I'm really appreciate Hana sticking up for Aoi though, I knew she is best girl for a reason.
Hana is obviously potential love interest of MC
unless author is trying to be unique here
Lol it's amusing how the others get embarrassed when Tachibana praises other people, I guess his sincerity is too much for the others.
Overhearing someone say they'll never move up must be really shocking but I'm glad Hana said she's Ashito's fan so hopefully that balances out the shock and makes him feel a sense of responsibility to work hard to not disappoint his fan.
